NORTH GREENBUSH -- Four principal shareholders of Coromed Inc., a company formed by former Sterling Drug employees, will collect at least half of a $40 million deal in one of the biggest Capital Region buyouts in recent years.
Coromed, an international contract drug research company with 119 employees at Rensselaer Technology Park in the town, has agreed to be acquired by Omnicare of Cincinnatti for a premium because of the company's international reputation as a drug research company, said Gary Rhodes, an Omnicare spokesman.
