NSW: Teenager charged over stabbing

A teenager has been charged over a stabbing and serious assault at Sydney's Darling Harbour.

The 16-year-old's been charged with attempted murder, assault occasioning actual bodily
harm, and affray.

The charges follow an incident in which a 48-year-old man was attacked on November 7.

Police say the man was knocked to the ground, kicked and stabbed about the head and
body a number of times.

The youth, from Campbelltown, in Sydney's south-west, has been granted conditional
bail and will face Bidura Childrens Court on January 22.
