The German Athletics Federation on Sunday lifted its four-yearsuspension of sprinter Katrin Krabbe and two former East Germanteammates in a drug-testing dispute.
"A great weight has been taken off us," Krabbe said. "We areinnocent."
However, international sports officials said the ruling willmake it harder to catch doping violators.
"This decision left a bitter aftertaste," said German OlympicCommittee official Walther Troeger.
Though she still is banned internationally, Krabbe, 22, said "ofcourse" when asked if she would compete in the Summer Olympics atBarcelona.
